European giant launches HUGE Mbappe bid
Monday, 26 June 2017The 18-year-old is one of the most sought-after properties in world football at the moment with a number of suitors circling for a swoop, but it appears one club has tabled a mammoth bid...
Paris Saint-Germain have launched a world-record £119 million bid for AS Monaco star, Kylian Mbappe, according to Goal.com.
The France international burst on to the European scene this campaign and guided the Monte Carlo side to the Ligue 1 title, at the expense of the Parisiens, as well as the semi-final of the Champions League. His pace, power, and finishing ability have caught the eye of Europe's elite clubs, with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Liverpool all registering an interest in his services.
However, PSG are hoping to take advantage of the fact that Mbappe was born in Paris and indeed the majority of his family still live in the French capital.
The current world-record fee paid for a player stands at £90 million which is what Manchester United forked out to land Paul Pogba last summer. It is thought that Unai Emery's outfit would need to eclipse this fee considerably if they are to have any hopes of landing the world's most exciting young starlet in Mbappe.
The forward has remained admirably tight-lipped on his future so far but until a new contract with Monaco is agreed, which would see his wages increase by 900%, the speculation will to continue to mount in regards to his future.
