Mbappe meets with Real Madrid chairman
Monday, 26 June 2017The AS Monaco starlet has been tipped to make the move away from Monte Carlo this summer in the transfer window, and it seems that the Spanish giants are the club to get the ball rolling...
Kylian Mbappe reportedly sat down with Real Madrid chairman, Florentino Perez, last month to discuss a potential transfer to Los Blancos, according to Telefoot.
The 18-year-old burst on to the scene this campaign with a string of impressive performances in Ligue 1 and the Champions League, and it did not take long for suitors to start gathering to register their interest in his services.
The Spanish Primera Division champions are currently sweating over the future of star player, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is reportedly unsettled, and they have apparently identified Mbappe as a long-term replacement for the Ballon d'Or winner. However, the move is not dependant on this, as the young starlet is a known fan of CR7 and indeed met him many times as a child.
Perez is keen on a move for the centre-forward and met with him and his representatives last month, but at the moment no concrete bid has been made.
