Manchester United star Paul Pogba has offered starlet Kylian Mbappe some advice about his future, telling him to 'be serious' about taking the correct decision over his next move.

Pogba left Manchester United to pursue regular game time at Juventus, where he developed into the world class player that prompted United to buy him back for a fee of £90 million in the summer of 2016. 

Therefore Pogba is well-placed to offer Les Bleus' young stars advice on the next step in their careers, and he has explained to Mbappe in particular what he should be thinking about as the transfer window opens.

Real Madrid have been linked with an £130m bid, while PSG, Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with the starlet. 

Pogba told Telefoot: ""The young players like Mbappe and Dembele are very talented. 

"I've never seen this, young players imposing themselves like that, being relaxed like that.

"Mbappe and Dembele have the future before them, they must be serious. They're kids, young people who have a brain. I wish them the best, also with France."

 

Pogba also discussed France's World Cup 2018 qualification bid, with the Euro 2016 runners-up in a race with Sweden and the Netherlands to qualify for Russia next summer.

He added: "The qualification table is not the best for France, we wanted to win against Sweden," Pogba, who starred at Euro 2016 as France finished runners up, admitted.

"Everyone wants us to win, we are all responsible against Sweden. We are second, we have to be courageous and take our chances with both hands to go for the top spot."
