Kylian Mbappe has been offered a bumper new contract at AS Monaco which would see his wages improve by an incredible 900%.

The 18-year-old guided his side to the Ligue 1 title this campaign and also fired them to the Champions League semi-final, and such performances meant it wasn't long before Europe's elite clubs started to confirm their interest in making a swoop.

It seemed to many that it was a foregone conclusion that Mbappe would indeed make the move away from Monte Carlo, but the French champions are prepared to flex their own financial might in order to extend his stay. Currently, the starlet earns 18 thousand euros per week, but under the new contract he would be catapulted on to a hefty wage of 162 thousand euros per week - on parity with Radamel Falcao.

This news will come as music to the ears of the Monaco fans, but there has been no comment from the Mbappe camp yet.
