Real Madrid could use Kylian Mbappe's admiration for their manager, Zinedine Zidane, to seal a move for the talented Monaco star this summer.

The young Frenchman has burst on to the map this season with the Monte Carlo outfit and is now one of the most sought after players in European football, with the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Manchester City all linked with making a swoop for him. However, the Spanish capital club could have an ace up their sleeve as it turns out that Mbappe's idol is none other than their current head coach, Zidane.

The 18-year-old confessed this to the media earlier in the season, so this could give fans a clue as to where he may end up moving.

'The one who made me love football was Zidane," he told Eurosport.

"Afterwards I developed several idols but really Zidane was my very first idol."

If reports are to be believed, it may take in excess of 100 million Euros in order to claim the services of Mbappe, so there is only really a handful of sides out there with the financial might to pull off such a move. The prospect of working with Zidane may indeed be too much for the youngster to ignore, so if Real Madrid can match the fee required then they may have found their next 'Galactico.'
