One in and one out at the Santiago Bernabeu
Friday, 14 July 2017The transfer window is in full swing across Europe and most sides will be looking to strengthen in key areas as well as getting rid of any dead wood, and Real Madrid are no different as one big purchase was confirmed today whilst an expensive flop is set to leave the Spanish capital...
Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Dani Ceballos from Real Betis while Danilo looks set to leave the club for Chelsea over the next few days.
The 20-year-old has been a target for Los Blancos and indeed Barcelona for a while now, but even though Betis also offered him a bumper new contract recently, his heart was apparently set on a move to Santiago Bernabeu.
The fee between the clubs is reportedly €18 million for a player who was named as Player of the Tournament for Spain at the U21 European Championships this year.
He will be presented as a Real Madrid player next week before joining up with his new team-mates for their tour of the United States in the International Champions Cup.
From an incoming to an outgoing. It looks increasingly likely that Brazil international, Danilo, will be leaving Madrid in the coming days, with Chelsea looking the most likely destination for a fee of around €30 million.
The Spanish side are looking to recoup most of the money they spent on the right-back, who has disappointed since his move from Porto two years ago.
