The prestigious pre-season tournament has saw the two European giants cross the Atlantic for some money-spinning friendlies, with each setting up initial camp in Los Angeles. The Spanish capital club had hoped to train in the impressive Drake Stadium and stay in the prestigious Beverly Wilshire hotel in Tinseltown, but they have been beaten to the punch for both of these locations by the Red Devils, who arrived in America a day previous.

As a result, Real Madrid have had to place themselves in their secondary choices which has further cooled the already bitter relationship between the two clubs over the years.
