'Museu CR7' has been open since 2014 in Madeira with a variety of trophies, kits, and football boots on display for the public to view, but the newest part of the gallery is sure to add a certain sparkling charm to the already impressive array of exhibits within the building dedicated to the Ballon d'Or winner...

Cristiano Ronaldo's personal museum in his home town of Funchal, Madeira has gained a new treasured item this week - a duo of crystal Nike football boots.

To commemorate his time at both Manchester United and Real Madrid, Swarovski diamond-encrusted boots have been created and will sit next to his multiple Ballon d'Or trophies within the musuem itself.

One pair is red and white and features an image of Ronaldo on one side with the Barclays Premier League logo on the in-step, while the other pair is white and gold and, as well as another image of the 32-year-old, has the Spanish Primera Division logo. No boots have been made to make a tribute to Sporting Lisbon which may come as a surprise to some supporters of the Portuguese outfit.

Rumours continue to escalate that the Portuguese superstar could potentially leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer due to becoming unhappy with life in the Spanish capital following unpaid tax allegations and the subsequent media scrutiny.

However, with this tribute to Los Blancos coming in the form of a pair of boots, it could be a very slight sign that the relationship between the player and the Champions League winning side has settled in recent days.

Don't expect to pick up a pair of these boots yourself, as they were exclusively designed for Ronaldo by diamond art specialist, T Daniel, who has previously made similar items for the likes of Didier Drogba.
